Questions, bug reports, or ideas? Email findr@grcsac.com — a human reads everything, usually within a day or two.

Do I need an account?

No. Findr works the moment you open it. Sign in with Apple is optional — it keeps your ratings safe across devices and reinstalls, and it’s required only for Dating mode.

How do recommendations work?

Findr doesn’t average star ratings. It finds people whose taste overlaps yours and looks at what they love that you haven’t tried yet. Every rating sharpens the picture.

What do the tiers mean?

Love and Like tell Findr what to chase; Dislike and Meh tell it what to steer around; Haven’t tried marks things it’s allowed to recommend; Not interested removes something forever.

How do I find friends?

On the Taste tab, open Friends: search a username, share an invite code, or check the suggested taste neighbors. People in Recommendations-only mode stay invisible — that’s the default.

How do I delete my data?

Settings → “Reset my selections” wipes every rating. To remove your whole account and profile, email findr@grcsac.com from the address you signed in with and we’ll delete it.

Why don’t I see a title I searched for?

Catalogs refresh weekly from IGDB, TMDB, Deezer, Open Library, and AniList. If something’s missing, tell us: findr@grcsac.com.

Is Findr free?

Yes, the beta is free.
