Child Safety Standards

Findr: Taste Match is published by GRCSAC LLC. These are our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply to every part of Findr on every platform.

Who Findr is for

Findr is for adults. The app is listed for ages 18 and over on the App Store and Google Play, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to hold an account. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we close it.

What is prohibited

Findr has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and for any content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, solicits, exploits or endangers a child. This covers profile photos, display names and User IDs, comments, shares and anything else a person can put into the app. Breaking this rule ends the account permanently.

How to report

  • In the app: every profile and every comment has a Report action, and every person can be blocked. A report goes straight to us and is never shown to the person reported.
  • By email: findr@grcsac.com. You do not need an account to report, and you may report anonymously.
  • Emergencies: if a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first.

What we do with a report

  • A person, not an automated system, reviews every child-safety report, and we treat these reports ahead of everything else.
  • Content that violates these standards is removed and the account is terminated.
  • Apparent CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as United States law requires, and to other national authorities where they have jurisdiction. We preserve the evidence those reports need and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
  • Findr also runs a content filter on everything written into the app, blocking prohibited terms before they are stored.

Compliance

We comply with the child safety laws of the places where Findr is available, including United States federal law on the reporting of CSAM, and with the Google Play Developer Program and App Store policies on child safety. These standards are reviewed when the law or the app changes.

Point of contact

Child-safety questions, including from law enforcement and from app stores, go to findr@grcsac.com. This address is read by a person who can speak to Findr’s CSAM prevention practices and compliance.
